Nice place. Great hospitality. Friendly, patient, and knowledge staff and environment. No need to go to Vegas anymore for poker.
The staff here is top notch! Had to rush me through the sign up process because I showed up with 2 minutes left in the late entry period lol... I did everything they could and got me in with me or seconds to spare... Kind of wish they had dropped the ball considering I didn't do so well in this tournament LOL but there will be other days haha
I'm a regular player in the San Antonio area. I've played at most of the card houses that have been popping up lately and I gotta say, SA card house is running a pretty good setup. It's spacious with plenty of tables ALL MONITORED with overhead cameras, they provide a wide variety of drinks with free pizza on tourney days, not to mention the pubs right next door you can hang out at during breaks. The staff makes you feel like family and the tournament buy-ins are great for every skill level player. I know I sound like a fan boy but they're doing a lot right... they make it about the players and not about themselves. Keep it up guys!
Cash games and tournaments, make for great poker experience
Good first time experience here.
Everything is good other than the dealers being extremely slow switching out and counting the chips in the box. Simple solution every dealer has his/her own box.
