The San Antonio Police Department SAFFE section has consistently failed in thier duties to the North side neighborhoods. In my neighborhood we have found that contacting SAFFE leads to the officers acting like they are to under staffed to work in the evening time when the neighborhood problems are at thier worst. The Officers always suggest that we contact our City Council member and request paid overtime for them! Do they not get paid enough to do thier jobs?! Many of my neighbors have learned not to bother calling for SAPD SAFFE for help. Perhaps the police chief should put them back on patrol where they will do REAL work and not being Desk jockies!

No issues with the police department but the staff in the fingerprint department were slow to assist and was not knowledgeable with fingerprinting. I stood at the window for ten minutes while staff looked and walked by in the back. Finally got help and took another ten minutes to research 'how to send fingerprints' just to tell me they could not assist.

I just wanted to thank the San Antonio police department for saving my brother today. I was concerned about his well being. I live 3 hours away. They were so understanding when I called. They got there and transported him to the hospital for help. Thank you so much for all you do.

Establishment raised their fingerprint services from 10 for duplicates to 30 for 1 card and NO discount for additional cards that are required by some agencies. I needed 6 cards and they wanted 180. Complete BS, talk about price gouging and taking advantage of their tax payer. Highly recommend using a private service where the price is friendly for the hard working type. Make it sound like everyone is made of money to pay those absorbent prices.
