For being the weekend after SNOVID and having no water, this place was pretty good. The appetizer (I can’t read the menu, but it was cheese cubes) was delicious, and the entrees were crazy amazing. I had the GOBI (cauliflower) Mutter, and it was freaking delicious. My sister ordered the SAAG (Spinach) Lamb, and that was delicious as well. The major downfall was the menu...which isn’t that huge of a deal, but they still might want to work on those.

I was hoping after moving the restaurant to the new location that it might have gotten better, but sadly the food was just okay and service was horrible. Out of the five dishes we ordered, the dishes were mostly sauce with about 6-7 very small pieces of meat. As for the service, I noticed other people mentioning that it was good or even great. If that's what some have previously experienced then it must have been a really off-day. They acted as though they couldn't care one way or another that somebody was eating in their restaurant.

Some of the best food I've ever eaten anywhere. The folks that own it are super nice and are happy to tell you what things are if you need to know. I've had a lunch meal of assorted things twice now and it never disappoints. I've also had the family meals and it's enough for a few days for two people. Enjoy!!

Good service and plenty of choices for vegetarians. The gobi manchurian is excellent . The cut mirchi are spicy and tasty - enjoyed them very much. Veggie Dum Biryani was OK. Asked for spice level 5, but I would give it may be a 2. The carrots were extremely salty and completely killed the Biryani taste. Had to eat leaving out the carrots. The raita and gravy were good along with the portion. The dish is plenty for two people. Malai Kofta was average with the gravy salty. The kofta was well done and tasted good. The naans were freshly made but didn't have the flavor. Came here after reading reviews but disappointed overall. Must admit, the service was excellent and wish the good was half decent.

I want to start off saying the food here really is good. But reviews aren't only for part of a service. Where the 3 star comes from is the service. Order placed, was given a 20 minutes estimate. 30 minutes later I arrived (to give a 10 minute variance because I know those times aren't always accurate.) When I arrive, I told them I was here for an online order, she walks away, never says anything and doesn't come back, instead someone else shows up and never even said anything to me. I had to interrupt her from talk to the next person un line to ask how long it would be on my order I placed over half an hour ago. She walks to the back, comes back a few minutes later and says another 5 minutes. It's now 50 minutes later and I finally have my order. I understand things can be out side of your control or something may have happened. But communication goes a long way when you barely even acknowledge your customers.

4 stars because it’s authentic. But with that being said it’s hot as fire even as level 1 heat. So if you like spicy then this is the place. I myself do not but it’s the only one open til 9:30. But it’s worth burning your mouth if ya want Indian late night.

Spice has the best Indian food in San Antonio. The chicken 65 and lamb tikka masala are both excellent dishes. They will make your food very spicy if you ask. The spice scale is 1 through 5 I usually do a 4 and that is pretty hot. Service maybe could improve a bit but all in all great food. I will and have returned many times.

I ordered a dish and asked for one star (mild spice) and it was the spiciest food I’d ever had. I couldn’t even eat the dish. My husband, who loves spicy food, even said it was too spicy for him. Very disappointed.
