I'm not sure if the Cut Mirchi is supposed to come with all those seeds inside the peppers but that was a total miss. I love spicy but the amount of seeds in the peppers totally ruined it. I ordered the vindaloo the hottest spice level and it was sweet and not spicy at all. what saved the meal was the chicken chittenad.. it was a nice rich deep flavor and little spicy.

I went to Spice Grill and Bar tonight and had the most pleasant experience. We have been to the other sister restaurant before, however this was very different from the other one. Not only was the meal superb, but everything was also cooked to perfection. From the fluffy rice to the blend of spices used in our curries I have to say this is the best Indian restaurant I have been to in San Antonio. The server we had was very smiley, very kind, and checked up on us to make sure we were happy with our experience. From the friendliness of the staff, the amazing food, and the atmosphere in the heart of San Antonio downtown, you have to check this place out.

Visiting San Antonio and our hotel was right next door we kept smelling this amazing smell and finally went next door to check it out for dinner. Let me tell you we have traveled quite a few places in the world and this place is definitely in my top 5 of all time favorite restaurants. The food is ohh sooo good I wish I had a second stomach just to eat more. We had lamb curry and lamb Korma and garlic Naan

The food was authentic and delicious. The portion sizes are huge, so it is better to share with others if you don't want leftovers. I recommend their lamb biriyani. They customize each dish from 1-5 level of spicy. Level 3 is perfect for people who like the food to burn their mouth but not their stomach! Only downside was they serve the water room temperature, but that is very common at Indian restaurants. You can ask for ice if you want it!

During my San Antonio visit I ate in this restaurant twice. For me was the best Indian restaurant I have ever tried in my life. And the whole staff were so kind and friendly. I give this restaurant an applause

First off, everyone was wearing a mask and I felt their health protocols were above & beyond. Second, the food is incredible. This place would be packed all the time if it were in Houston, Austin or Dallas. San Antonio doesn't know Indian food that's not buffet-style and that's a shame. The kitchen at Spice is putting out incredible curries and dishes, clearly with a lot of pride and a ton of cuisine talent. I've traveled through India. This food is the real deal. And third, the service was kind and authentic. We really appreciated the attention to detail. We can't recommend this spot enough. These are the kinds of small, diverse and locally-owned eateries we need to support.

Very good. I wanted it really spicy. The trick is to make it really spicy but you're still able taste all the flavors. They nailed it

OMG. The food is amazing. I will come here everyday until all my money is gone. I got a level 3 spice but I think next time I'll do a 4 or 5. I can't even write the review without drooling, literally. It was a lot of food for a good price. The Tikka Masala was the best I've had in years. Can't wait to go back!
