Loved EVERYTHING about this place, the customer service was very attentive. The food RIDICULOUSLY good, including there sweet tea. My husband isn't an Indian fan and let me tell you even the flavor of the vegetables turned him into a fan to this cuisine. I ordered us the appetizer platter for two as well as for our main course we ordered The Pride for two and after eating we could still feed another couple. We have left overs for the next day, fantastic portions for the price! Don't take my word for it, you must try this place!

This place is simply amazing from the great customer service to the great flavors of the food. The restaurant was very clean! This was my first time today eating here and I’ll be back on Thursday! This place is 10/10 and I highly recommend. The sambusas are amazing. The red sauce is amazing, the rice had so much flavor and the nan was to perfection!
My family first discovered this place during the winter storm. They were one of the few places open and my family was desperate for a hot meal. The staff was so warm, welcoming, and patient. With everything we were going through it meant a lot. We have returned at least 4 times since our first visit. I’m one of those customers asking for all kinds of changes and substitutions. (I’m nice about it! ) They are very patient each time to help me work out what dishes would work for our families food restrictions and everything is always so flavorful and delicious. I’m giving them a full five stars for all of the reasons above. However, I would love to see more fully plant-based meal options on the menu as you progress. Today we had a dairy free cauliflower and potato korma and it was AMAZING! You will definitely see that order coming through again on a regular basis. Thank you!
Checked this place out for the first time and the portions are huge! I will definitely have a lot for leftovers. The foods delicious, establishment is clean, the staffs very attentive and everyone’s very nice. They also have a cool bar. Pretty cool place to hangout. Will be back again. Thank you guys so much!
Very good food and friendly service. Our group loves food and tend to order most of the menu. Very good flavor and able to choose the spice level. Had good memories of visiting India with their cuisine. Samosas, paneer pakoras, and shrimp pakoras were an amazing way to start. Perfectly cooked and great flavor with the chutney. Out of what we ordered the chicken tikka, butter chicken, rogan Josh, and mixed grilled tandoori were awesome. Our waitress Kat was amazing with our questions and indecisiveness. Ending with pistachio kulfi, khir, and masala chai left us very satisfied. Very happy with food and atmosphere.
Absolutely delicious food! best in San Antonio! The staff is super kind and fun. Service is beyond comfortable. Highly recommend for an exciting date night and or family time!!!
What a satisfying meal we had at Lion. Sad to see we were the only table occupied, yet all the food we got clearly was freshly made and oh so flavorful. Pakora, tandoori chicken, shrimp and lamb just amazing. Mango lassi. Certainly more food than we could eat. Brought back probably half of what we were served. Still the bill was very reasonable for the spread we ordered. Definitely going back.
Oh where to start... Lion has it all. Some bomb Indian food with a full bar! Prices are good for the amount of food you get. Served family style which allows you to try out different dishes. We always have some left overs for the next day. Daily drink specials are a nice addition. Service is on point. Chicken tiki masala is my favorite so far but there is still much more to try! Going to work on becoming a regular here.
