I loved this place! The owner was awesomely nice, the ambiance was really cool. The surf lessons were fun (but REALLY tiring if your not used to it). The restaurant food was good. The rooms are a little noisy if you're going to bed early, but get quite after 10 or 11.

Definitely recommend Nomads. The hotel is right by the main strip and a short walk to the beach. The rooms are adorable and SO comfy. We had quite a few bumps in our trip between work schedule changes and getting sick, and the owner was really great about adjusting as much as he could so we could still enjoy our trip. It really helped reduce the stress. Highly recommend!
Awesome surf trip and stay with Nomads. Sean is the best. Set us up with instructor, wetsuits...the whole deal. It completes the surf experience.
This place is amazing! The owner helped me book my vacation to fit our families needs, and went above and beyond to make sure we had an amazing experience. We had to cancel our trip to Jamaica in July due to Covid and Nomads definitely made up for it. Our stay was the last week of July. We purchased the full package that included our rooms, surfing lessons, and our food. The food was delicious and so much to chose from. Our surfing instructor was so much fun and helped our son catch some really good waves. We’ll definitely be making this our vacation spot in California.

Lets start with finding parking for this place is weird and tricky. No one is working the front desk to assist. Now, I’ve never had worse customer service in my life. This is a hotel that would rather take almost 300 from a customer than make it right. I was sent a link after speaking with someone and the link had preselected dates. My mistake for not confirming these before booking but mistakes happen. I show up to the hotel and they say they’re booked and i can book for another time (i don’t live in CA). All they kept telling me was it was all my fault. I’ve worked customer service for years and never had any experience like this before where I wasn’t listened to or believed at all. The night I booked for my was sister’s wedding, no way I booked incorrectly. Will never recommend this place to anyone who’s less than perfect.
Great funky little spot. The Cantina had amazing food and the Bali room has cute touches that make the stay truly special. Just a few blocks from the beach and pier.
Amazing staff & very charming hotel it's a surfers dream. Loved ear plugs were provided. Restaurant food was good & great drinks too. Definitely going back.
