I’ve been going here as long as I can remember. Everyone is super helpful and Dr. Langford is always pleasant and very good at what he does. Kent always makes sure I walk away knowing I’ll look great in my new glasses. I’ve already recommended Arena Eyeworks to my fiancé and friends!

I always had a difficult time adapting to multi focal lenses (dizzy, headache) until Dr. Langford made an important tweak to my prescription, and optometrist Kent Griffin’s expertise with ordering the lenses customized very well to my eyes and habits. Plus, Kent is phenomenal at picking out flattering frames!

TL/DR- beware the upsell. Just my first experience here for a contact exam. Easy to make an appointment, and the front office staff was great. I was seen as soon as I arrived for my appointment, and whisked back into their state of the art room with all the check-in gear (e.g. the puff of air machine). Here, they even had one I hadn't seen before, which flashed a bright light and took a pic of the inside of your eye. I was seen by the doctor next. Doctor was professional and clearly explained procedures as he went. When he got to the eye exam, he mentioned that he could review the pictures of the inside of my eye (taken by the machine at the beginning), it's not fully covered by insurance, would cost 39 out of pocket, most people do it. I hesitated - when I thought about it, I realized it was the same as dilation, so I asked about out of pocket cost for that. He then told me yes, it's an option, and that was covered. I felt a bit upsold here, and like the office wasn't expecting me to choose dilation. Cool tech, but for me the money saved was worth the inconvenience. Doctor asked if I drove myself, and advised caution driving home. He administered the dilation drops, and let me wait in the exam room for the 20 min for them to take effect, which I appreciated. The rest of the exam went well. After paying, I walked out of the office. INTO THE SUN, WITHOUT SUNGLASSES - NEITHER THE DORKY WRAPAROUND ONES, OR A WARNING TO WEAR MY OWN. Luckily I remembered, OH SHOOT, I need sunglasses after dilation to protect my eyes. I hobbled to the car and found an old pair in there. YIKES. Overall, the office got the job done, but the dilation upsell/experience left something to be desired.
