After my husband passed, I found myself needing help managing the household and doing my weekly shopping. I have never needed help and took my time to find the best option, and Attentive home care was instrumental in finding me the best solution for my situation. Everyone from the management to the owner, to my very special caregiver was more than helpful, and lived up to the name; Attentive. They made themselves available even when I had a fall late at night and was admitted to the hospital and was able to staff someone for me within the next day. My caregiver has actually become a great friend, and was very helpful over thanksgiving and Christmas as she helped me prepare my candied yams and mashed potatoes. I was not sure I would be able to attend family gatherings as I can no longer drive, but now I make every birthday and anniversary! Thank you attentive home care, I am truly grateful for your service!

After I had a fall in 2017 that broke my hip, I was homebound for my period of recovery and physical therapy, My children have moved out of state so they were not an option to assist me, with my sudden change of independence and coming discharged from hoag, I had to do research on my options as I wanted to maintain living at home as independently as possible. I did alot of research and decided that a home care agency was my best option. I ended up calling Attentive and finding out that they are family owned was nice, but also the fact they are licensed and insured (many other home care providers are not, do your research carefully) was the best and safest option. My caregiver Julie helped me with everything from my discharge, to maintaining my vegetable and herb garden! Julie is friendly and professional, and has become a friend and member of the Done family. Not only did she help me with keeping my home tidy, but also prepared me some fantastic meals! Having Julie has enabled me to keep the home I love and stay active in my community. The agency has been a god send as I have herd some mixed experiences with other services. Thank you Julie and Attentive Home care!!! -Ethel Done
