My favorite location for delicious Thai food. Visited on Fri I believe. Next time I'll be back with my coworkers. Bring your hunger - portions are generous.

Good atmosphere. But the restaurant has changed the ownership. Now the name of the restaurant is Mission Valley Gastropub. I ate rendand and Indonesian satay. The taste foods are not really good. Not Indonesian food.
thai food and the feeling at this place is excellent. i really loved this place. the bill was average for the menu. kinda of like a restaurant in los angeles i loved to visit.
This review is for the "New Restaurant" same location and owner with a new menu. They took Bali Thai changed the menu. It went form a decent Thai place with some issues to a new restaurant with worse food and still the problems it had before. Examples of problems: leaky bathroom sink that can get you wet if you are not careful. Lack of cleanliness in back area that you have to go to to find the restroom. No Owner/Manager present during dinner. Oh and they also left up the old stickers form awards they say they won (but that was the old place). Really disappointed they messed up the good thing (food) and left all the problems. Staff is friendly which saved them from a 1 star review.
The service was great. The server was very polite, not overbearing and yet we were still well taken care of. The meal itself was delicious. But dessert was the best. Highly recommend the one with bananas and ice cream.
Service (for lack of a better word) was absolutely nonexistent. The place is DIRTY, and the restrooms stink! Eat at your own risk...
I ordered from this place a couple times, the food was pretty good. I especially enjoyed their Chicken Wings and Corn Fritters... not necessarily Thai specialties, but so what,,,, good is good. I had the food delivered both times... kinda slow. This past Saturday I placed my third order. After nearly two hours, I contacted the restaurant, and the said that the order had just left the restaurant and was en route to me. After about 30 more minutes, I called them back and apparently the rest of the staff had followed my order out the door since no one picked up the phone. So after two and half hours of waiting, one bold-faced lie, and countless hunger pains later, I had no food, had to cancel my order and now was faced with the fact that in the time that had passed, most other options for food delivery had closed for the night. So on Tuesday I called back late in the afternoon to speak to someone about my experience to see if they could offer an explanation, and /or make amends in any way for what had happened. Here is the verbatim exchange I had with the phone service delegate, who sounded less than thrilled to be alive.: Bali Thai: "*unintelligible female mumbling*...Bali...*unintelligible*...speaking" Me: "Hi, may I speak to a manager on duty?" Bali Thai, after a long silence, "*unintelligible* is not here." Me: "When will a manager be on duty?" Bali Thai "In the morning, *unintelligible* only works in the mornings." Me: "So there is no one in charge at night? During dinner service?" Bali Thai: after another long silence, "Correct." Me: " Well, I guess that explains my experience from Saturday night. Thanks, I'll try back in the morning." Another restaurant with perfectly good food doomed by incompetent management.
