We walked up to the hostess on Saturday, Feb 13th before 5 pm. We saw that there were about seven tables open and asked if we could be seated, she asked if we had reservations, we said no. She said let me check if I can seat you. She came back and told us she could not because we did not have a reservation. I made a comment that you have all these tables available now, and there is no way you could accommodate us? She apologized and sent us on our way. We walked down the street to another Restaurant and they put us on a waiting list until they had an opening, around 30 minutes. I could see that tables were still open so I decided to call the Restaurant to speak with the manager. I’m not sure if that’s who I talked to, but she said I could make reservations for Tuesday. She said that it was a holiday, Valentine’s Day and people were celebrating. I said we are two of those people celebrating and that she had seven tables open by my count. We could have been seated, dined and on our way before any of the reservations showed. I asked if everybody had 5:00 reservations. She said no, but they were expecting them to come in about an hour and a half. We were surprised that with the restaurant business hurting because of Covid, they were willing to turn away business and not have at least one table available for walk in customers. We ended up a few doors down having a wonderful time with good food and drinks. Plus a great atmosphere and top-notch service.

This place was terrific, merci. Both escargot options were fantastic, though a bit similar (maybe that was the wine). They have a lavender champaigne ), and so much fabulous wine, perfecto. I had the croquet de garcon (which turned out to be a hamburger and not a steak) that was excellent topped with a fried egg which I love and my lovely date ate a perfectly cooked duck. The duck was on a cremed mash potatoes bed with veggie ratatouille, good! Parking was easy since they have there own little lot and there is alot of street parking in the pretty and safe Kensington district. The location was good, the accommodations for covid are excellent, all outdoors, space heaters at every table and only a few tables were on tilt! Go eat here, take someone special, it will be a night to remember and relax while eating a outstanding meal!

Good location for delicious French food. The staff was very sociable and kind. This place has a great atmosphere. If it wasn't far from my work I would come by more.

They had colorful high-chairs and wonderful handwritings on the chalkboard where their menu was handwritten. Very nice place to enjoy! Thanks a lot! Your Restaurant must be highly recommended! Cheer for your success!

This restaurant is so cozy and intimate. They have one of the best charcuterie boards in San Diego! The customer service is great and the food is amazing!
