My rental car was reasonably priced for a one way rental, a reliable, clean, fuel efficient ride for my needs driving around San Diego and the road trip to San Jose. The San Diego Airport Car Rental Center is earranged\ due to COVID so it was a bit confusing trying to find the Budget counter which is now merged with the Avis counter up on the 3rd floor of the parking garage. Staff were friendly, welcoming, masked and working from a distance. Then during drop-off at San Jose airport, the directions to car rental return are confusing. But overall, very pleased with this rental experience.

Budget Fast lane Rocks! I was in and out in less than 5 minutes both picking up and dropping off. No line, no wait, no hassle. Best price I could find online. The drop off at the airport is not on site but the shuttle brought us to our airline quickly, again, no wait; it arrived on under 5 minutes. Friendly staff, easy experience.

I went in to renew my vehicle on a mini lease. It took forever to complete this transaction. The manager finally arrived to service me appropriately. I was there for 3 hours, and eventually late for work. I am upset, as to the amount of money I spent to receive poor service. I know budget can do better, if not i will start to take my service elsewhere, as time is money. I don't appreciate my time being wasted.

5 Stars! This is due to the cleanliness of my 2018 Nissan Rogue and the cost of the car. I would rent a car again from Budget San Diego. Also, the San Diego car rental center is super nice and organized. It just opened in 2016!

I wasn’t happy with the original vehicle assigned to me due to the smaller size than anticipated. However, a staff member was gracious enough to not only help me find a bigger SUV but also give the free upgrade. The staff members are very polite and helpful. Thanks Budget!
