Welding is offered at the San Diego Electrical Training Center for all Union Electrical Workers. This was such a fun course. Mr Gene is very patient and has a great sense of humor! Just absolutely enjoyed my time in his class and I learned a lot!

For people wishing to become Electrician Apprentices you have to go here. They will have you fill out an application but you must have a *Sealed* transcript of your high school diploma and stop by from 2-4pm on every Wednesday. Go up the stairs to the Office and apply in there.

John Whitcraft

Interested in the electrical vocational trade? This is a great way in. You will have to pay for books and enter the apprentice program with union local 569. Training, similar to night school at a community college, is free. Study four nights a week, pull wires every day.

This is the school for IBEW Local 569. Apprentice and journeyman classes are taught here. There is a lot of great training to be had.
