Cool location by the beach, friendly staff but honestly a pretty boring thrift store for the size of the place I thought they'd have a better selection on items the place doesmt seem to get in items that change frequently, my girl friend found this cool fanny pack and asked the worker to go a couple dollars cheaper and he was stern on price, not what id expect cosindering a place that is dontation based. Love the name, but dont feel ill we'll return.

Really disappointed. I’m a huge fan of thrift shops and I’d heard great things about this place. First impression while walking in is that it strongly smelled of weed like someone was smoking in the shop before opening. Also a lot of it was just overpriced junk.

2019 July. Humble Heart thrift store moved to 4967 Newport Ave., Suite #14, Ocean Beach, CA 92107; from 531 16th St, San Diego, CA 92101, (Downtown, San Diego). -- 2019/01/23. Large book collection/stock! One of the largest book stocks in thrift stores where I've been (similar to thrift book stores) (I check many local thrift stores & library book sales). On shelves in room filled with shelves. Mostly not organized, so to find what they have you may need to browse a lot; some sections seem related items (possibly because donated that way, or some similar items go towards a section). Low cost, like thrift stores usually are. Donations, so random stock. Still, a great variety, some popular popular items (in their day in some cases) or popular interest. I've found a few of my top preferences, including rarer, hard to find, or out of publication; mainly by browsing a lot (most or all the stock, at least in parts over time). Decent thrift store option (other than the big chain companies). I like it, mainly for books. They have special sales/discounts on specific days of the week; check their Web site/page or social media pages/profiles, or signs on storefront (or photos). Since stock is donations, they can have new stock anytime, random. Interesting what shows up occasionally. Small parking lot in front, free. Basically 1 row of spaces in front of store, a few. They prefer you don't shop with bags, & they compensate/accomodate by providing small-medium lockers & locks for temporary storage. Electronics devices. Mostly older, working condition unknown. Media recordings (vinyl records, tape cassettes (audio, music, VHS), CD, DVD, etc.). Mainly older. If looking for rare or out of publication, then may find something here.
