Fantastic as always. Same great charbroiled or smoky flavor to their meat as I remember. I always come here when I’m in San Diego. They have a unique pepper flavor to their hot sauce that I haven’t had anywhere else. I always get a California burrito and I’m never disappointed with the size. It’s massive. My wife got a vegetable and shrimp soup that was amazing. Really couldn’t ask for much more.

This is the 21 shrimp plate I chose the scampi flavor and included in the meal you get sour cream, guacamole, rice and beans and your choice of corn or flour tortillas. The shrimp has a very strong flavor that leaves your mouth watering and craving the flavor. This is actually my second time ordering this same item and it has the same great flavor. I highly recommend this taco shop as I go often and have had several other items which made me a regular customer seeing as I am exploring new food adventures in this section of town. Add a large Jamaica and enjoy! I enjoy going here knowing that the food and service is amazing and I look forward to trying new items which I am very particular about but everything has been excellent and I will be doing more item reviews as I patronize this establishment. Also featured is the steak and egg burrito!
Wonderfully delicious Mexican food. Large size portions. We hope the hot carrot/ salsa bar returns after the pandemic.
This is the best California Burrito in SD! It’s massive and they have so much meat it’s amazing. You can tell you’re going on a mission when they hand you the to go bag and you need two hands to carry it out. I thought they accidentally gave me two burritos, but nope just one baby sized burrito.
One of the best hole in the wall places around. They are pretty flexible on the orders. The menu is expansive, I dont think I can physically try all of the items. Staff is nice. Ive been going here probably 15 years and the quality is consistent. Its every bit as good as the expensive places in Old Town but without all the hype.
