I recently had my 1978 CHB's stern tube and stuffing box replaced. The staff and crew were incredible, a 20 or 30 year old leak that is common to these boats and hard to even get someone to talk about or look at. They jumped in and figured it out, stayed on budget and worked through my muffler problem plus a random mystery leak. The bottom is bone dry and the smell is gone. I appreciated being able to work on my swim platform and scraping the bad paint to feel the scope of the problem prior to a quality bottom painting. Thanks guys for the honesty about what needs to be replaced and doing it right!
