My daughter attended Murphy Canyon Preschool from 2011-2013, and my son is currently attending. When I came to Murphy Canyon Preschool with my daughter in 2011, and I had my walk through I was very pleased with the interactions between the teachers, students, and parents. I was also very happy with the cleanliness of the center and the well-balanced meals that they offer. Shortly after our walk through I enrolled my daughter. As a military family, it is crucial that I find a center that could meet my needs and the needs of my children and that they can work with my kids when they were missing their daddy. I was so relieved that I found a center that both of my children thrived in. I was relieved to know that that they are in an environment that has teachers that are compassionate and love my kids as their own.

My son attended this preschool for almost three years. He loved going the entire time. Nooshin, the owner, is personally involved with the children on a daily basis but also hires amazing teachers for each age-level. The curriculum is fun and educational and if you visit the school, you will see for yourself that the children are fully engaged and content. My older son had attended the SDSU Children's Center preschool for three years and while they have a great facility and many resources, the atmosphere is not nearly as happy and harmonious. I think it has directly to do with the wonderful teachers at Murphy Canyon. Also, the tuition cost at Murphy Canyon is significantly less per month/year. We'll miss this school now that our son is fully prepared for pre-k.
I wanted to take the time to share with you how wonderful Murphy Canyon Preschool is!! My son was 3 years old when he started; he had a lot of difficulties with being around other children and did not speak much. I knew that the best thing for my son was to be around other children so I did a lot of research/visited many daycares and by far Murphy Canyon Preschools stood out. The staff truly showed genuine interest is supporting my son in his new transition from homecare to preschool. Needless to say I enrolled my son and it was amazing to see how he went from being a shy boy to a boy who looked forward in seeing the teachers and playing. I highly recommend and have referred many family and friends!!
