Super nice little Japanese market. It is small but I can always find the Japanese staples im looking for. The produce is good and they often have great wagyu steaks! Visit on Saturday or Sunday to pick up their house made cream puffs or custard cakes!! The sushi is also great, honestly better than some of the local restaurants I've been to. A hidden gem for me is their marinated jammy eggs.

SO EXCITED!! CHEAP SEAFOOD AND SASHIMI PULL ME BACK AGAIN and AGAIN. So Nice Employee. They give you napkins, chopstick , soy sauce, wasabi for FREE. Food, fruit, hot and cold Variety of healthy drink. Snack.... Should Come at least Once.

We have been going here for decades. Perhaps one of the oldest Japanese markets in Southern California. They always have a good selection of fresh seafood and vegetables. There sushi is fresh and reasonably priced as well as their bento and other hot food offerings. However, they tend to sell out fairly quickly.

Walked in cos of the reviews on google and the sandwiches did not disappoint!!! The older gentleman greeted me and asked what i would like, i asked for the sandwiches i read on google and he pointed them out immediately. people in there are nice and helpful and seems like a nice little Nijiya Market San Diego Store also.

I love this market. They used to have all different percentages of milled rice but not any more. Still love to shop here though.
