My wife and I were redesigning our wedding rings and we had no idea where to begin. We had a few ideas which we were able to communicate to Sandy. The whole process went from an idea to actual designs and to reality. Sandy is a genius in what he does. His level of expertise is phenomenal but his true assets are his integrity and honesty.I would highly recommend Sandy to anything that is related to jewelry. Sandy Sanford of San Diego Gems is my friend! I was given his number by a friend of my wife (fiancee at the time) several years back and with his help was able to design and create the beautiful custom engagement ring that to this day my wife says is her prized possession. We later designed custom wedding bands for our wedding and in both cases we could not have been more pleased. I refer all of my friends to Sandy. At the time my fiance and I decided to get married and after looking at rings in local stores, I became very discouraged. After all, we had no financial help from any parents, relatives, or friends. It was by chance that we ran into Sandy. We were able to choose our (MY) center diamond, side stones, and accent diamonds. Since I am in the nursing field, I can not have a ring with a high mount. With that being said, we were able to design a ring that was nurse, patient, and glove friendly. The entire process was amazing!! We learned about different diamonds, the origin of my diamond, and ring making process. This will be something we will never forget! My ring was made for my finger!! I would definitely recommend San Diego Gems! and when it's time to upgrade we will be back!!
