Very cool place to visit. Most nostalgic. Me and my girl come here often to watch movies. The staff in the snack bar are extremely friendly and hospitable. The movie selection is great however sometimes the movie on the large screen is a little dim and hard to view. It's a great place to bring the kids or the whole family. I think admission price may have gone up recently but that's probably due to covid. The prices in the snack bar are still very good overall is a great value.

The only theaters open during the pandemic! First drive-in experience! Place is in pretty good shape, the staff was friendly, they had a UFC fight event playing that night. The only down side is the screen was a little weathered and the projector went off the top of the screen, but the spacing is great with giant speed bumps to park on to point your car up and make it easier to see. Only other reasons it's not 5 stars is the other people you have to put up with. One car turned on their lights on about half way through and washed out the bottom half of the screen with light poulution. Overall a good experience and excited to be able to see a movie again even with covid!

Awesome experience. Took my girlfriend for a date night her first time to a drive-in. It's amazing to see how many people still go to the drive-in. I would give this 5 stars but it seems that some people forget to turn off their lights when they start watching a movie. I had to get out of my car twice to tell the person behind me turn the lights off and the person to my right to turn off their LED lights. Once this was done contrasting the screen was perfect and everyone enjoyed the movie. We will return. Maybe there should be a commercial advertisement explaining that people need to turn off their headlights so others can enjoy the film.

In a world full of Pandemic closures. The South Bay Drive In is a relief most need. We saw Wonder Woman and the 10 per adult price was right. True it’s no AMC, but you take what you can and the drive in was a needed getaway for a few hours. #Essential.

Visited This swapmeet on a Wednesday afternoon. It was still buzzing with vendors/shoppers. But not packed. Plenty of parking. One dollar admission. Bathrooms are available. About 60 to 70 vendors. Large storage units line the outside border of the drive in. Some are super crowded while others are organized and others look like little shops. The rest of the swapmeet is traditionally the same. Rows of vendors selling various items. Don't forget to visit the back row of shops that are hidden from View. If you enjoy walking about looking for collectables or something different/special. Then definitely visit this place on a Wednesday.
