AMAZING IN EVERY SENSE IF THE WORD... gorgeous building and exhibits. My favorite was the naval radio room display because I'm a ham radio operator..

Small museum it’s free and quite interesting. Nice view of the bay/cove in the outdoor area.

The museum is currently under renovation and doesn't have much of a collection, but the building itself is what is so interesting. It was a WPA project, originally to be a public bath house, and has beautiful art deco murals painted all over the building. The rangers who work here were incredibly friendly and informative. Looking forward to coming back when the renovation is done.

The photos remind me how hard people in old days strived during exploring and surviving.

Not a huge exhibit, but nice views of the harbor from the museum and the exhibits they do have are nice. The building itself is a nice art-deco structure.

They have renovations still going on, so very little is on display. They do have a bunch of ships you can visit though (you need to pay separately for those, but it's free on some days) and those trully are interesting. They even have a few guided tours with some interesting stories about the ships, so make sure to join if they are happening during your visit

A very good photo collections and some artifacts dating back 100 to 150 years of Maritime history. The tools we use to navigate the ocean could very well be much different. Yet human comradeship and animal companionship remain the same from the photos displayed.
