Absolutely love it here. My happy place. Amazing facilities and the staff are always friendly and willing to help. Two thumbs up from me. I just wish I could spend more time here. Like others have mentioned they just need to restock the bathroom and the review will be 5 stars.

Nice gym! Great setting and super friendly staff! A little on the higher on pricing for a day pass and the sauna could be cleaner :)

Planet Granite is one of the best gyms I've ever been a member of--awesome community, great climbing, friendly staff, clean facilities, great price, a better view than many outdoor crags...this place is the best.

I started climbing 45 days ago after a 2 weeks trial period. The first step was to take a belay class (free), then the belay test (free too) and then I was able to come either by myself (some people that are also coming by themselves, can partner up and belay with you), or with my partner to top rope or boulder. I feel that the quality and diversity of the routes make it possible and enjoyable to come every day. The place is rarely packed but I recommend to get there before 8AM or after 7PM. They use gri-gri instead of belay devices (compared to Touchstone) so it feels very safe. Some really good climbers come here so you can watch, learn from them and progress. Staff is great, and very helpful.

I've been to LA Boulders twice now and while it's definitely one of the more fun activities you can do with your clothes on that doesn't require booze, it's positively one of the most frustrating! Bouldering is not for the easily discouraged. It will break you down faster than a drill sergeant. I consider myself pretty athletic and up for most anything fitness wise, but this is one activity that I just can't figure out.
