On vacation in San Francisco with my family and I was in the mood for some Nicaraguan food. My cousin recommended Rinconcito Nicaragua, he's usually on point with his recommendations. Let's just say he faild on this one. The chia was more sugar than chia and my carne Asada was as salty as the San Francisco bay. Another negative was one cook was eating while cooking and the other's were not wearing their mask correctly. I guess southern California still reigns supreme as California's best Nicaraguan food. Love this place. Me and the wife decided to walk down mission st deciding what to eat and decided to go back to Riconcito Nica. This time we got the house special, I call it, Fritanga. There is so much food that is plenty for 2-3 people. Plate is loaded with staek, pork, gallopinto, Maduro, queso Frito, and much more, and to top it off, pickled onions . Definitely a must try
