As of writing, this is the only Sababa location open in the city during COVID - and I'm glad to see it! Their mediterranean food is one of my all-time faves. The falafel is moist and has delicious flavor. The hummus is smooth and creamy and the tahini sauce is to die for! All of the side options such as the moroccan carrots and cabbage are wonderful and flavorful. Lots of options for all types of eaters with pitas and plates.

Their falafel pita sandwich and chicken salad bowl are out of this world! Super fresh ingredients, and tons of flavor in their salads (definitely try the pickled cabbage). It is expensive (although the price is similar to other places in SF) but the quantity is loads. I had 7-8 falafels in my pita sandwich. Whatever I take there usually lasts me for lunch and 3pm post lunch meal

Sababa great! Really, it means great in Arabic or Hebrew slang. It perfectly summarizes the falafel pita sandwich I get whenever I'm near one of their three locations in the FiDi. The falafels are perfectly cooked but it's the Israeli salad and the pickles that make this sing. It's a big sandwich further making this one of the best in the city. You can also order the falafel as a bowl or on spiced rice and lentils with the Israeli salad, quinoa tabouli, or roasted cauliflower on the side. Pros: The falafel takeout box is really well-designed

Great place! Music sucks but it’s mostly take away. I had falafel pita sandwich (10), was balanced and tasty. They serve it in special boxes that don’t destroy the pita so you can take/it it everywhere

Delicious! Fresh and flavorful. I had the chicken bowl with rice/lentils as the base w/ Israeli salad and pickled cabbage with tahini sauce. Yum. Nice friendly service. Highly recommend.
