Get the chips and gravy. The bone marrow and fried pigs ears are great too. I was less astounded with the skate and prime rib than some other people. Next time I need a snack at a place with cool ambiance, I'll get my wallet ready to be lightened by a hefty amount at the Coachman.

The first place I've been to where one of the cocktails is served to you in a flask! The cocktails were delicious and unusual and the bites were tasty as well (had their version of poutine). The ambiance and music was also very good. I will definitely be going back!

Awesome service, beautiful space. Amazing bartenders with some of the most incredible whiskey-based mixed drinks this side of Market Street. FOOD: Potted crab Tender crab in liquid butter. I mean, you can't really go wrong there. I will say that it wasn't anything special though -- I mean, if you put anything in liquid butter, it's going to be delicious. Steak tartare Good steak tartare that was a bit overpowered by the tangy balsamic vinegar. Skate Wing First time ever having skate and I thought it was great. Soft, tender, and flaky. I wasn't really feeling the capers though -- made it way too salty. Asparagus Nicely cooked but too salty. Sticky Toffee Pudding Loved this dessert. Probably the best part of the night (other than the awesome whiskey cocktails). ------------------ I would definitely come back for their cocktails and sticky toffee pudding. Probably not for the overly-salted food, though.

Came here for dinner after work one night because it was the only place we could get a reservation on short notice in the area. The restaurant was somewhat quite when we got there, which was a bit surprising. We didn't want to go overboard, so we decided to split 3 plates, the Bone marrow, the beef tartare, and the prime rib. The bone marrow came out first, and I really enjoyed it. The marrow is the rich fatty well seasoned goodness that you should expect and demand of marrow. Then they went ahead and added escargot in a butter sauce and fresh pickles. I was in my own mini heaven. I was brought quickly back to earth when the tartare and the prime rib came out. The tartare was good quality, but I think after the amazingness of the marrow, it kinda fell flat. High expectations can be a killer. The prime rib also failed to live up to the hype. It was a good portion size, and a good cut, unfortunately, it was short on seasoning. I'm used to getting prime rib that has a nice crispy, well seasoned sear around it. This didn't have that, and ultimately I felt it was just okay. Drinks weren't bad. Not a bad place to grab some food, but fell short of expectations.

Nice atmosphere and the service is good. The food is good but a little overpriced for what it is
