I found Mara Rose to be a super perceptive and caring life coach. She was always very attentive and her feedback felt motivating and spot on. Somehow she managed to be low pressure yet very inspirational while assigning some challenges and homework! I achieved a good deal of growth in my business and personal life. I was truly very comfortable with her and would definitely work with her again. Plus she has an infectious laugh!

Being a new manager can be a challenge especially when you don’t have a mentor. The various things I was facing were new to me, as it was the first time I was holding a position between upper management and new reports. I was handling some aspects of it well but was concerned about my blindspots and began feeling anxious that I might be making mistakes. I began working with Dr Campbell and very quickly we were able to create goals and an action plan for managing my reports and managing up. It was great knowing that I had someone to talk and collaborate with and soon I began to feel I had a grip. After six sessions I feel confident that I’m making good choices and look forward to a good review coming up. It’s also cool that I know I can come in for follow up sessions whenever I need a supportive, strategic perspective. If you’re thinking about something like this, don’t hesitate to connect with Dr Campbell, she’s great.

It always feels great to see things in a different light and to be reminded that life is not only about downfalls or frustrations. It's about getting to know yourself better, making course corrections, and having a positive affect on the people around you. As a person focused on her career, I had a habit of defining my worth through my work. Self worth was not something even thought about until I came to meet career coach Dr. Colleen Campbell. She brought me through a process where I learned more about myself and what drives and motivates me. It began to see things in a new way. While the work was focused on career, she really is a talented life coach as well. I didn’t expect to develop more balance in my life but that’s what happened. Sometimes, we just need to help ourselves and reach out to the right people who know exactly how to help others through exercises and new strategies to try. The professional approach that Dr. Campbell showed me, are tricks and tips I will always look back on, if I find myself lost in the challenges of work again. Thank you Dr. Campbell for being such an inspiration!

Just a year ago, I began to want to make myself a \someone\ in the niche that I have learned to love: Marketing and Industrial Research Development. It's a good fit for me and I believed I could be an asset, whatever company I went to. What I didn't understand at the time was that holding a leadership role in the company I was in would end up putting me through fire and ice. Eventually, I began doubting myself, my capacity, and my self-worth. After receiving a complaint from some of the staff under me, and having a boss who seemed to look at me, not as an ally, but as a competition... I began to feel powerless. The passion I once had, became a burden and I struggled to go to work each day. I began doubting my decisions, my actions, and the inner sense I usually have. I thought I was a goner until I was referred by a friend to Dr. Campbell. She was my saving grace. At first, I was hesitant, to even have a free phone consultation with her, as I had never worked with a career coach or an executive coach before. But looking back, that was the best decision I was able to make while I was in the middle of my struggling mind and heart. Every career coaching session with her brought me back to myself. Each day became bearable. Slowly, I saw where I shouldn't be blaming myself. Session by session, I regained the professional confidence I always had in myself. Together we created a strategic action plan for going forward. She made me see that vulnerability is not a weakness, instead, it' when you are honest with yourself about where you need to improve that you begin to change. High potential growing leaders also feel helplessness and overwhelm at times, but that should not stop me from becoming better. Thank you so much, Dr. Campbell, for getting me back on track.
