Worst people I ever talked with. Rude and arrogant persons. Carlos Diaz is a plague for the french tech in the silicon valley and I am so sorry for all those founders that had a bad experience with this individual . I spent 30 minutes trying to explain to this so-called entrepreneur what the gaming industry looks like in 2020 but it seems this guy didn't play a video game since 1985. Carlos is a scam that pretends to be the guy that knows everything in the tech industry but in reality he is very limited. So, if you have a tech-centered project that implies a little bit of complexity (they don't like Saas, API etc.) , The refiners is not for you because they cannot understand intricate things. However, if the technology itself is not the core of your product, (e.g. you create an app to order food) then, you are a good fit. This is how they work. Apparently, there is no risk to see the next Facebook or Google in their portfolio.
