They had a very nice selection of pizza AND tacos. (Nice combo!) I met Truffle, the bartender, and he made me a great Manhattan - very traditional but not pretentious. The service was A, and I would recommend to anyone looking for a nice underground pub. (Not gluten-free friendly though, unfortunately.)

I was having a normal day until my destiny changed because my heart saw the journey that beheld me. My phone buzzed with an interesting invitation to take a path less traveled by. Zebra Hues opened its doors to its warm and cultural experience full of couches that seat wonderful company. The night dragged and changed while I missed my last ride back home, but I never looked back. The experience left me wondering if I could ever live in such a world. Thanks to the amazing people who gave me new insights on how to live.

Praise the zebra and its hues That often go unseen, unused, Unwanted even, reds and blues And yellows taken quite for granted. To every zebra worse for wear, With hues of colors far and near: Come to Zebra Hues! I swear That you will spend the night enchanted.

An old man, worn and dehydrated from hiking across the Sahara in search of treasure, comes across what seems like a bottomless trench surrounding an impeccably lucid oasis. Having as last found some water, he heaves a euphoric sigh of relief, hopeful that the spring in front of him is not a mirage. The aged man takes a wide stride across the hollow but, in his fatigue, not one wide enough. He loses his footing, only grazing the tip of the oasis with his index finger as he falls into the chasm below. As he's falling ever faster, reaching terminal velocity, the old man realizes that he is neither falling nor old nor dehydrated. He had simply spent a few hours at the establishment known as Zebra Hues, and succumbed to its inviting and engrossing atmosphere on one of the soft fabric couches. The man feels fulfilled, having experienced with unbelievable realism his potential future fate, and as he slips back into reality he knows that he will return to Zebra Hues many more times to explore his destiny.

Attracts a cool crowd. Great hosts. Wholesome fun. Not a touristy spot. 10/10 would recommend.

Once in a lifetime experience. The mystery of the zebra koan unfolded before me. Also, parking was hard to find.
