This spot is my preferred one. I visit many restaurants but to this restaurant I keep coming back again and again. The stuff is very cordial and the cooking they place on your table is so appetizing. I would always prefer to have a nice meal here. I recommend this place with pleasure.

Japanese comfort food is really awesome. I got the Oyakodon and loved it. I ended up getting extra karage chicken because it was so good. Cant wait to come back for more.

I went to Ducks for Katsudon. Pork cutlet bowl with egg. It was just ok. The cooks are line cooks. Did not see a Japanese chef. Perhaps in the beginning there was a japanese cook. The katsudon order did not have any picked like umeboshi or rakyo. Just a small portion I. Of shredded cabbage with a bit of sauce. Usually in a proper tonkstsu place there spices and some tonkatsu sauce. Of course with katsudon the egg is cooked in a short based light sauce. I thought it was a bit too sweet. My one negative comment is the pork loin should be at least 1 cm thick. This was too thin and too much breading.. I think the line cooks need to go to a good tonkatsu place to see how it is done better.

How have I never been to this Japanese restaurant?! I've always passed by this spot ever since I was a kid but thought it was literally a restaurant that specializes in duck. Lo and behold, it's a small restaurant that serves amazing Japanese food. I ordered their chicken karage and their katsudon (カツ丼). The karage was nicely deep fried and juicy to the bite. Their katsudon was in a big bowl and had a great flavors. It reminded me of my trip to Japan and all the Japanese food I had because it's comparable to what you'd get in the homeland. I'll definitely return to try the rest of their menu because I'd say it's worth your money and time if you're ever in the area.
