I had pretty severe back pain in my mid to upper back on the left side, most likely due to break dancing. Went here to get it treated with a massage and after the first day, it already felt significantly better. However some of the pain was still there, so I went back for a second session and the results were pretty wild. The next day I felt 90% better, and that last 10% of pain faded over the next few days. So in total, I'd say the treatment was very worth. Chuck was the one who treated me and let me just say he definitely knows exactly what he's doing. Its really nice because he'll talk to you as he's performing different techniques, explaining what they are and what its good for. He'll also identify problem areas and how to fix, so you're not just left in the dark on what's happening. Chuck's a real personable guy with a friendly personality, and calm soothing voice which fits with the overall feel of the place. The facility itself is very relaxing and nice to be in, very zen. It was my first time getting any serious massage treatment and I'm glad Chuck was able to make it a comfortable experience. Will definitely be returning when I need to!

I've had hundreds of massages in my life, and Chuck is one of the best massage therapist I've had the honor and blessing to work with. He is deeply intuitive, diversely skilled, and genuinely compassionate. He customizes each massage to whatever your body needs at the time- whether it be healing a soft tissue injury, increasing range of motion, correcting muscular imbalances, reducing stress, or simply relaxing. He is wise to give the exact pressure necessary to break down the scar tissues, meeting the tissues where it is at. His approach is soft yet strong. He has a variety of skill sets to do whatever your body needs to feel and performa at your best. He understands that the issues gets trapped in the tissues, and holds a safe, sacred space for you to express yourself and be yourself. I've had many inspiring, eye-opening, life-changing conversations with this tremendous healer. Perhaps the most impressive trait of Chuck is that he is always evolving, constantly educating himself with new information and experiences to be better and better. I cannot recommend him highly enough. Give him a try, you will be happy to find your new favorite massage therapist.
I just wanted to write this review to thank the staff at Numo. I have experienced upper back and chest tension for almost a decade now. I have had several physical examination and had manual therapies from multiple therapists over the years. However, none of them worked well and I have not felt much better. Jonathan is my acupuncturist and he is experienced and heart-warming. This is the first time i tried acupuncture and I find it so effective and powerful! They also have an amazing massage therapist: Chuck palpated my troubled areas and provided a thorough treatment plan including message therapy, cupping, and guasha therapy. After a few visits i have seen a lot of progress and hope i could get treated more often after this quarantine.
The first time I visited Numo acupuncture was 3 years ago. I had come in with a severe back pain and I was not able to stand/sit comfortably. I had also never tried acupuncture before, so I wasn't sure if acupuncture would be effective in treating sciatica or herniated disc in the lower back. Faye treated me for this and I was back to normal and pain free in a few days. She is very thoughtful, calm, knowledgeable and has given me a lot of great advice. To this day, me and I my husband visit Faye for any of our health issues and I highly recommend them.
Numo is an amazing health clinic with outstanding acupuncturists. Melanie has been really great at helping me within the last year to with sleep and stress.
