School was fast and easy but the price is ridiculous! Dental offices can train you better in house schooling is not required! I’m 7 years later not able to purchase a house or car. The student loan they talk you into is horrible. Due to the school not being accredited if you ever move you have to start all over.

It’s a good college
Just when I thought I had found the right school... Carrington College was such a blur, I couldn't move on to the second semester because I failed a class/ subject for 1 point from passing. I decided to give it another try.. Well I ended up having to pay for that class again. They made me go through this whole process; from me having to get some reference letters to wait over 6 months until I can return. Just when those 6 months were over I was so excited to go back! As a result, the own staff told me I wasn't basically ready to come back... THE OWN STAFF! How can they base you over something you couldn't achieve and willing to try again. As you know, well hope you do.. it's a profit school. Even my high school counselors didn't recommend me coming here. But I had to because it was my only choice and nearest around my area. I live over an hour from this school it sure wasn't easy but I didn't mind it. Now I'm attending a new online school with the same program, It's going great but still paying off this school. Contact me if you have any further questions.
They enroll almost everybody to get the money and lie about how all their students who graduate get jobs right after graduating. Avoid colleges like these and save your money.
I'm in the vet tech program and it's amazing. I'm glad I have the best instructors. It's easy if you make it easy. Great communication between the staff.
Places as such should not be allowed to enroll students. They see people as money and are quick to enroll people based on false promises. I would never recommend anyone. The instructors play favoritism, it's all bad. They should be held accountable and we shouldn't have to pay back all that money. These schools SUCK!! I gave one star in order to post.
I came here in October and enrolled in medical assisting. I was very hesitant on coming here because all of the reviews and some people had a bad experience but i didn’t have a bad experience at all. Coming here was the best decision I’ve ever made. My instructors were the best teachers I’ve ever had, they were like second moms to me. They really care if you succeed in everything you do. They have people there to help you through anything and they are there for you at anytime you need them. I really do miss everyone. I started externship and I’ll be officially done June 22nd. They help you find a cite for externship and even help with resumes, finding jobs. They are amazing. I even signed up again to go back and get my associate’s degree through their online program and I just can’t wait to start. So don’t let other people’s bad experience ruin something that could be a great opportunity for you.
When I attended this school I soon regretted it. I am a veteran so I had a vet rep that I worked with there. This lady was suppose to be a help (Myette Anderson) to me but instead she made my time there stressful. Monthly she made mistakes on certain paperwork that I had to pay for. Like I said I am a veteran so I was getting a housing allowance while attending and for some reason my payments were delayed on several occasions. This really affected me while attending this school because this was my source of income while attending but I always had an issue with my payments so I was on the verge of eviction because of Myette Anderson repeatedly making mistakes while trying to enter information in the computer. She fat fingered while typing a lot made many mistakes certifying my attendance so this stopped my payments. When I confronted her of her mistake on several occasions she acted as though she was offended that I mentioned her mistake to her. I was on the verge of eviction and too stressed to concentrate on school because of it. I brought this situation to the director of the school and she was eventually fired but I suffered greatly before they finally decided to let her go after several more mistakes. Even though this incompetent individual has been fired this school is still very unorganized and expensive. I went here for veterinary technology only because there aren't a lot of schools that offer this in the Bay Area or even in Northern California. I went to San Leandro campus.
