Serenity River

Very cool record store with plenty of variety, shirts, decals, stickers, you name it. We loved seeing a store dedicated to all modes of music (cassettes, cd, vinyl, etc) would go again

Pretty dope groove plug. I'm not from the area and was checking out Morro Bay. As I was driving back to Paso to visit my brother, I passed a street called Beach St, which brought to mind the album Beach Blvd from the Crowd. So in thought, "hey, a cool beachy then like this probably has some raaad record stores. Turns out, they did. However it was Sunday 5pm and everywhere else was closed. So huuuge shout-out to the folks down at Boo Boo for puttin in the lord's work, elbow grease and extra hours required to maintain such an outstanding establishment for the connoisseurs of quality, such as myself. They even sell guitars, strings, 1/4" and xlr cables

I Love Boo Boo's! I have been going there for 30 years. I don't even always buy something when I go. Often I go just to hang out and peruse the music. The owners and staff have created a sanctuary, where everyone is welcomed and simply allowed to be. And if you want help, they are wonderful and knowledgeable. BooBoo's is a local, and beyond, treasure.

Great place to shop and browse. The vinyl selection is incredible! Posters, and other music memorabilia is also sold. Staff can answer almost any question, you have, about an artist, or recording.

This place has just about everything you need for your record collection. They have posters,stereo equipment , concert tickets and so much Vinyl 45's & Albums and so much more. The prices vary depending on what you buy. Very nice people working there. A must see if your into music. You better have all day to look around..

One the few places i. Downtown SLO worth going too when you need some vinyl. They have a surprisingly great selection and used vinyl too. Personally I love looking through film soundtracks and they tend to have what im looking for most of the time. Great place too and very nice staff, very supportive of the covid mandates and ensuring everyone safe and masked when you walk in.

This is one of the few great record stores left in the state and it's a treasure to San Luis Obispo. I've been coming here for the better part of 10 years and have always found the staff, the selection and the vibe to be on par with the greatest record stores in North America. It's a blessing to have a store of this caliber in such a small town. If there ever were a local store in SLO that was deserving of your business, it's Boo Boo Records. I've been making it a point to shop here more during the Pandemic because this town wouldn't be the same without it.
