I visited a Lakeshore store today and as I walked into the store along with my 3 kids, I saw and heard a staff member greet and offer the person who had walked in before me a bag and seemed very friendly. the staff member then looked at me and gave me a slight smile and walked away. No greeting, no offering of a handbag, and no asking if I needed help finding anything. Perhaps, I didn't fit the \teacher type\ that was going in to buy teaching products. The person that walked in before me was white and blonde. I myself am hispanic, brown skinned, and have dark hair. As I walked around the store, I observed the same staff member walk around and offer help to other white shoppers. I then watched and heard her approach a hispanic couple with a cart full of items and asked which one of the two was the teacher. I was a bit surprised at her comment because I didn't hear her ask the other white shoppers which one of them was a teacher. I bought the items I needed and walked away feeling very discriminated against.

My daughter's regular hangout place. They do classes on weekends that which gives good opportunities for my daughter to learn things. I gave less than five stars because what they carry is not reasonably priced, but rather high. But overall, good place.
