My favorite thing to eat at San Marcos BBQ is their turkey! Today's smoked turkey was so deliciously tender! I added a cup of beans that were just perfectly cooked. To top off the meal I picked a dessert of warm peach cobbler! I love all the servers who are always so friendly!!

Smelled awesome. Set up totally awesome. Employees were friendly and thorough. Sides-cabbage tasty but overcooked, mac and cheese fair and a bit wet for my taste. Ribs perfect pull. 3 Stars for the lack of smokey smokey in ribs. Will probably be back.

We arrived at 6:30 on a Saturday night and the sign said they closed at 8:00 so we thought we were good but as we were ordering we were told that they were closing in 30 minutes by one employee but assured by another employee that we could take our time and enjoy our food. That was not the case! Before 7:00, they started turning they lights off and cleaning the drink machine. No refills for us! The meat was very greasy and extremely salty. The beans were good but the rice was not.
Brisket was just decent or okay. Sort of dry and overcooked and not a deep enough smoke ring. I think it could’ve been better to Cook it lower and slower. The turkey was pretty damn good though. Sides were pretty good. It’s not worst or best bbq, but because of the brisket, I’d recommend you try somewhere else, they just don’t do the brisket that well here.
