Clean, safe, friendly Charter/ Montessori School. Free tuition except for full day Kindergarten. K-8 on campus. Beautiful new building, staff treats you like family, small class sizes, and your choice of Montessori or mainstream education for your children. 100% Recommend.

I have two (soon to be three) children attending STCS and we honestly think it's the best charter school for them. We spent a lot of time looking into what we wanted for them, and this was the best we could find. They have a gifted program and are very adaptive to children's learning style. The few times we have had to discuss incidents and behaviors with the administration, it's always been a great experience. No school is perfect, but I think that STCS is the best for our family.

I used to be a student at this school, it’s a great school if your child is in sports or is hoping to get a scholarship from sports. However, the school is severely LACKING IN ACADEMICS, they used to use ( I’m not sure if it is still being used), a program called ALEKS, and it is the absolute worst way to learn math. I honestly would not recommend sending your kid here, because I’ve heard that the new students cause some issues. Which leads me to the next thing, student behavior... While I was a student here, and still to this day, there is a student who is obsessed with another student, and the administration and many teachers know that this student consistently harasses the other but they never do anything about it. The problem continues to get worse and sometimes involves violence ( this comes from the person being harassed). This school has a HUGE problem with ignoring student behavior, and there are honestly way too many examples for me to list them all. The students and teachers here used to be very nice but the atmosphere has changed drastically. There’s a teacher there who is incredibly immature and has even told a female student “You look like that everyday” in reference to a drag queen. She has also been rude for no real reason to students who leave the school.

this school dosen't care if a student is being bullied, inless it's one of the administration's kids. it also forces the teachers to pay for almost all suplies and wastes all the funding on the sports team. the use The math program ALEKS which all the students and some of the teachers agree is a terible way to learn math. half the time they don't even give the students what they need to work. the technology classes are taught with programs instead of the teacher doing his job. the school tries to make it seem like they are the best option for your child but in reality they are rated C, most of these reveiws are writen by people who are close to the admisitration. they claim they don't have much homework but that's because they give you 4 times the class work and tell you to finish it in 45 minutes. they also only give 28 minutues for lunches. do NOT send your child here, There are several better options.

My husband and I are a founding family of San Tan Montessori and both of our daughters started in the Montessori preschool and are currently in 6th and 10th Grade! We have been witness to this school blossoming over the years and providing our children with a safe foundation for their education. The great leadership provided by Kris and Rita Sippel the founders and all of the amazing teachers over the last 12 years will not be forgotten!
