If you want an ocean view be sure to check when reserving. Our unit was cozy and quiet. Mattresses a little uncomfortable. Could have used an couple extra pillows but no extra pillowcases were on them. Unit was not clean.. Dirt on the carpet, many unclean spots on couch and carpets. Items found under beds. Dust and crumbs on tables, cobwebs in ceiling corners, missing light bulbs or not working. Bring your own BIG coffee mugs. Washer was not agitating well. Bring extra toilet paper as you get only 1 roll per bath. Toaster was full of bread crumbs from prior occupants. Counters had not be cleaned in baths and kitchen. We will look for other options in the future.

Outerbanks experience without the hassle of a much longer drive. This condo is quite nice with three pools including one with a swim up bar. There are outdoor gas grills but they need some refurbishing. The state park is right next door and the federal wildlife preserve is just five minutes down the road. Love this area for a relaxing vacation.

We just returned from a week at The Sanctuary. We rented two units. The larger unit was very well stocked. The smaller unit not so much. Both units were not clean: hair and dirt in the bathrooms, cobwebs, sand and mud on the balcony when we arrived. The oceanfront unit had a chaise lounge that had been removed but the cushions were left on the floor of the balcony and were filthy. The towels and washcloths provided felt like sandpaper. The toilet paper was one ply. My Grandson's bed had sand in the bed sheets from the previous tenant. As reported by a previous reviewer, there was one working elevator for 96 units. Fortunately both of our units were on the first floor! The unit doors were very difficult to open. The pools were open and cleaned twice each day. However, there was no employee there to monitor how many swimmers were using the pool at any one time. The phone and front desk receptionists were downright surly. We did have to call the local police on our first night's stay due to the really loud and obnoxious party noise from the balcony above the smaller unit. Our receipts of payment do say Sanctuary Realty on them so I trust they are responsible for the above comments. We have stayed at various locations on Sandbridge for multiple years in the past. It is a lovely location and beautiful beach. Thus the two star rating as opposed to one star.

3 of the 4 elevators in the complex are broke. One elevator that is working was on the complete opposite side of the parking spot and rental. When we first arrived, there was no indication on the elevators that they were broke so we waited several minutes at elevators that weren't working. Also, we received an email prior to arriving that stated what to do if we arrived after hours and those instructions were completely wrong. It was quite an inconvenience trying to figure out where to go with luggage and beach equipment only to be re-routed 4 times. The complex itself needs some cosmetic upgrades as well as a GOOD cleaning. Once we arrived into the unit itself, it was also filthy. There were dirty dishes in the dishwasher, dirty floors, and dirty rugs. When we reached out to the office, they responded with \it's been a crazy couple of months\. No excuse - the previous renter had to check out before 10am and we didn't arrive until close to 11pm in the evening. Proximity to the beach was nice but traveling there was quite a trip especially with one elevator and the entire complex traveling there around the same time. They did close both pools for two hours each day and clean. Overall the experience was okay but I would not stay at this property again.

Great experience. B205 is the perfect spot, ocean view and fully stocked. We had a perfect week watching the ocean in a worry free environment.
