Fun museum with a lot of neat exhibits. Great way to cool off and spend an afternoon on a hot summers day. Very reasonable price.

Admission prices are a bargain, for what you get to see. Interactive displays and interactive workstations for kids as well. We were there for the presentation & demonstration of the Sandusky Coal Docks scale model. Much info on Sandusky role in maritime history, but plenty info on Great Lakes boating, shipping, warfare, ship building, ice harvesting and fishing. Staff are very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. 3 buildings of things to look at and learn about. Very family oriented place to go, even on a limited budget.
We had a wonderful time. It's well organized and some wonderful people work there. We will go back there again to learn more about the history of that area. The gift shop has alot of very nice things.
