What a cool place to visit! We come to the area for fishing and waterparks. After finding Wild Acres Ranch, our family has frequented this place for the last five or so years. We love observing animals and nature, but what we love so much about Wild Acres Ranch is how intimate it is. Not only can we get closer to most of the animal collection, but we can feed deer, pet a camel on the nose, interact with dozens of goats and sheep. Every time we visit we can count on people friendly animals. The wide array of animals are well kept, well fed, and appear very happy. The pens are clean, and I was amazed at how few flies there were - my wife hates bugs. (When talking to one of the senior staff, they showed me a fly mist system they have built into the pens - very cool!) There is clear signage to help you have a family safe experience as well. This year they have added a lot more parking, gravel, animal pens - and had photo opportunities - what a cute unicorn! We will be visiting for years to come.

I have been here a few times and they have done some great upgrades this year. It may cost a little more now but it's truly a small family ran farm which is America at it's best! It's sad that a few Karen's of the world feel the need to attack a small home grown business. Keep up the great work. My family will continue to support you when we visit the area!

It's a nice little petting zoo. We have been there a couple times. I have never previously had to pay for admission. This time is was 5 for admission and they seemed to be closing up pretty early in the day. The feed was reasonably priced. They had alot to see for just a small petting zoo.

A fun quick stop near the lake. You can feed the animals, and the staff is friendly and inviting. They have ostriches, kangaroos, goats, chickens, a cow they shot with a shrink ray, and pigmy goats too. Perhaps more! We stopped right as they were closing, and they invited us to go see the animals and told us about them. It’s a great quick stop to put on the to do list if you’re in the area!
