First time, me and a buddy went down to the Hatchery to go Summer Steelhead fishing. Had a nice hike and some beautiful scenery. No fish but a great hike around.

Nice trails kind of muddy but if you have hip waders it’s not bad lotta fish are moving around right now and that’s good

We have three boys who love anything outdoors. We had a family adventure yesterday. Picked up Joe’s donuts and a coffee at the coffee shop across the street from the donut shop and headed to the fish hatchery . It was Sunday and they were open. We toured the fish holdings and the employee answered any questions we had. We then headed to the park past the hatchery, down to the river along the hiking paths . We discovered two that lead down to the river . The one to the right is easier with the kids . The one to the left will lead you down a steep climb that’s not doable with kiddos . This was a perfect Sunday afternoon . So glad we went to Sandy and explored .
