Jim and his team at KEI in my opinion are the BEST you will ever find. I brought to him my old B3 and two Leslie 147’s which were all worked hard and completely beaten down to the nub (so to speak) from many years of being on the road all over New England, and up/down the east coast from Maine to Florida. Through rain and snow. Transport via open trailer and truck beds, vans, and even station wagons…..there wasn’t much left other than a shell of a body and dangling wires from the organ, and very tired Leslies, but it still worked for the most part. Performances in its later years consisted of old fashioned placing the B3 on milk crates stacked in two’s on each corner and covered with black cloth to hide everything. It was finally time to do an epic restoration. I brought the equipment to Jim and what was thought to be a 4 to 6 month project ended up being about 18 months due to the scope of this project but it was well worth taking their time, doing it right, and having a finished product that Hammond himself would be proud of. Jim engaged all the best wood workers and technicians to breath life back into everything. Most all original parts were restored to their original glory with only a few things here and there which needed to be replaced. I can’t say enough about their professionalism, great personalities, dedication, and the believe they all had that a restoration of this scale would turn out wonderful in the end…..and IT DID !!! I would highly recommend Jim and his team at KEI for any Hammond organ maintenance, restorations, or even purchases. They stand behind their products and their work. Simply outstanding. THANK YOU JIM AND TEAM !!!!

My experience with the team at Keyboard Exchange International gets an A! Jim's attention to my request on the Hammond B-3 I was looking for was unsurpassed. He did not release the Hammond until he was completely satisfied with it's sound. It was well worth the wait. I got a screaming B-3 and Leslie 142. Thank you for your great service and expertise! If you are looking for a quality B-3, Keyboard Exchange International is the place!

Finally got to visit and see probably the largest collection of vintage Hammond Organs in North America - perhaps in the world. B3s, A100s etc, Leslie speakers etc Organs from the 50's and 60's ready for a second life. Totally restored and also some currently being restored. Worth checking their website and watching their videos. You don't see many delivery trucks that look like this -

Since I was 5 years old. Always wanted to go there. I am older and I still really really want to go there, and if I do, I hope I have a great experience.

The experience at Keyboard Exchange International is second to none! Jim, Rodney and the entire staff have been really great to me and anyone I have sent here! This "TOY STORE" is so great to visit because not only do they let you play and feel every organ but they will explain the history and any added features that they have done to make it unique! The purchase and finance deals are absolutely incredible so please do not hesitate to call and visit! They ship organs all over the world so if you are out of the state or out of the country, call them now!

If you’re a Hammond B3 fan, this shop is heaven! Owner Jim Huss gave me a fascinating tour of the facility and took the time to explain the inner workings of the iconic instruments. Jim played a few licks on a B3 with an awesome sound. Jim is obviously passionate about restoring great, old Hammond organs. They are at the pinnacle of all keyboard instruments and nothing digital comes close. If you have any interest in classic Hammond organs, make sure to visit Keyboard Exchange!

I had the privilege to visit Keyboard Exchange International in Sanford, Florida approximately two months back. I was en route to pick up a chopped Hammond B-3 Organ with a Leslie 147 in Jensen Beach. Having watched Mr. Huss' videos along with Randolph Carter playing the many Hammond organs he has available for purchase, I simply had to stop by and hopefully play on one of those Hammonds. I began playing keyboards approximately 8 months ago on a 1974 cherry Hammond B-3 with Leslie 122. I tried piano very briefly when I was around 10 years old, but disliked it, and I cannot remember why exactly. In fact, I do not remember anything about piano other than I hated it. Shortly thereafter I began playing trombone in my high school concert band for several years and enjoyed that much more. I digress; once I met Jim and told him about why I was in Florida all the way from Kentucky, he cordially allowed me to play possibly one of the most beautiful Hammonds (aesthetically and audially) on this Earth. It was a 1957 Hammond B-3 with a Leslie 122 (walnut if I'm not mistaken). I played around on the organ for what seemed like an hour or so. Jim was also gracious enough to give me one of his instructional CD's, saying that I should check out the intermediate lessons (which I have since). I'm very blessed to have discovered this powerful, expressive instrument and to own several myself (two B-3's, M-3, and Model G). They are not for the faint of heart or the those that just want to learn "keyboards". They are much more than that, and demand respect if one wishes to learn how to play a Hammond organ. If you're interested in purchasing Hammonds, Leslie speakers, and the like, give them a visit. I hope to venture that way soon; the Hammond organ is coming back to prominence once again.
