We renovated our kitchen, including all new appliances. That included a gas range in place of electric. I waited over six weeks for another local gas company to get me on their schedule to even come out to the house to see what we needed and kept getting putting me off. Busy, tanks on order, etc. I tried contacting another national brand name company and after three attempts, calling and online, never heard back. ** I then tried Thermotane. I got a friendly lady on the phone right away. They scheduled Justin to come out to the house. He was great. I wanted the gas line below grade until it hit the back of the garage, then behind dry wall all the way to the kitchen. They said no problem, as long as I can get someone to open and close the drywall for them. No problem. I had planned it that way. Gas plumbers and contractors tend to not be great drywall guys anyway, right? Justin gave me a good quote. Both they and the City of Oviedo to issue the permit were fairly busy. So scheduling the install was several weeks out. Their communication was really good start to finish. The installation went great. Service from everyone was great!! Please note, the install from start to finish can take about a month, maybe longer. The city or county has to sign off on three separate steps of the installation for the complete installation can be approved and they are permitted to fill your LP tank. You'll need an electrician to update the 220 outlet to 110 as well. Be patient and plan accordingly. We used our electric range for as long as we could then it was the grill and microwave for a couple weeks.

Michelle in the office coordinated all of the details to make certain that the installation was seamless. I highly recommend Thermotane to anyone looking for residential propane service.
Themotane Propane really helped me prepare for hurricanes and other disasters when they installed a quick connect line so I could run my portable generator off my in ground propane tank. The Installation Job Rep (Justin) was fantastic! He was professional and accommodating; I had some issues with the installation and he stayed with it (and me) until it was done safely! In addition, Mike, who did the installation really cared about doing it Safely and Correctly. Thanks Mike! Many thanks to Thermotane for being such a good company!
I REALLY wanted to install a propane stove and Justin was so helpful and prompt with me . Unfortunately I wasn't able to because of HOA restrictions, but after checking around, I would have certainly used Thermotane .
