All waste management is awful at every corner. Customer service, delivery drivers, website, EVERYTHING IS TRASH

what a complete waste of time. I have my own dumpster that I utilize for cleanouts and projects. They want to sign me up for service instead of just coming to dump my dumpster. \we can't touch customers\ dumpsters but we are willing to rip you off to rent ours.

I needed to take a load of garbage to the local Waste Management facility. Before heading over, I tried to call the facility to find out what materials they do and do not accept. The \local number\ for my town in NC forwards to a call center in PA. I ask the rep for the local number and the rep in PA tells me they do not have the number and forwards me to another call center that has info for NC. 1) How about forwarding calls to the right call center in the first place. I ask the second rep for the number and he gives me the same phone number listed that is forwarded to PA. I point this out and ask for another number. He gives me the direct phone number for the call center in PA. His last suggestion was to drive down to the facility and ask. Seriously? 2) I don't blame the reps because they are either poorly trained or have not been provided with the means of actually helping people in my situation. This should be a simple task, but Waste Management has managed to turn it into a snipe hunt. Incompetence or intentional avoidance of customer service.

If I could give a negative 5 I would. I moved into my residence on 09/27/17. The container actually beat me there. The problem came when after one week, two weeks, three weeks and there was still NO pickup. I called every week, got on the website to track my pickup and low and behold the site said \pickup completed\. Uh, no! I called the number and was told that the driver said that my container wasn't out?? Frustrated beyond belief I called to cancel the service and even that took two calls. At no point did they attempt to rectify the issue, no courtesy pickup, nothing. There's no conflict resolution at this company just a group of people who obviously have zero pride in their work. If you can avoid this place like the plague!

When I tried to cancel my contract after 3.5 years, they said it had automatically renewed each year without my signature per the fine print on the contract. I had to wait out the remaining 6 months or pay for them which ever I preferred. Also, in their contract, cancellations required a written notice, sent certified mail, 90 days in advance on the cancellation date. So I continued paying a little more than double the quoted price from their competitor for another 6 months. After the 6 months, I had to call each week for 4 weeks to get them to remove their container. Considering the 90 day notice, I had expected it to be removed on the date I listed on my written cancellation letter. One additional customer service point of contact from WM was their final bill. They charged 150 container removal fee. OK, bit steep, but I was expecting a fee. Oh, and an additional 43 fuel/environmental charge just to ensure we never do business again.
