These people are AWFUL! If I could give negative stars I would. They took complete advantage of my husband and his brother. They sold 6000 worth of my mother-in-laws property and of that my husband and brother got 700 total (350 each). They took 90%. Nancy, the owner, claims they deserved it because they did so much work. Her commission is 30% plus hourly for her employees. She had 6 employees working, plus her at the actual estate sale. My mother-in-law's home is only 1200 square feet, it did not need 6 people all day everyday, but that's how Nancy bilks her clients. She billed about 350 man hours, charging them 3500 in hourly wages and then she took another 1800 for herself for the 30%. The trustee who manages my mother-in-law's estate said she had never in her 40 years of experience seen anyone do this. We would have been better off having a yard sale and even if people stole while we were there, at least they would have done it honestly. And when I called Nancy to discuss the issue (before I had the hourly breakdown) she told me that she had 3 people working the sale, 2 paid employees, plus her. When I got the actual paperwork, it showed 6 employees per day. When I called her about it 2 times she never called me back. To me this is nothing but thievery and I would NEVER use or recommend these people to anyone.

Recently in March, Seaside Estate Services conducted a sale for the disposition of our family’s property in north Anaheim. They were very professional, friendly and well organized. The crew rolled in their portable shelves and display tables and had things sorted so quickly. Nancy, Seaside’s owner, coordinates everything and certainly knows what she's doing. They did their homework and research on many vintage and mid-century items as well as tools and old books that we had no idea about. The marketing and signage they use generated a huge turnout of people and in the end, the sales were even more than we estimated. Her people packed up their gear, cleaned out the entire place, swept the floors and turned it over to our realtor, ready to list. It was a big job and we didn't have to “Do Anything”. I was more than happy with all their services and sales amount we received. I would most definitely recommend them to friends and others as well.

Nancy is great. Very thorough. And the fellow who was so upset by being told his hand might get slapped failed to mention the \ employee\ who said that is Nancy, the 78 yr old owner of the company. She keeps her computer close to her as she's also selling pieces on the internet at the time of the estate sale. Anyone would have known the computer was not on display for sale.

I went to a Seaside Estate Sale today and discovered a laptop set out on a table. I had an interest in purchasing the item and was intending to search for the model information but before I could find anything, an employee aggressively approached me and said, “That is my computer. I should slap you”. I am unsure where it is remotely acceptable for an employee to speak to a customer in such a way, let alone threaten them. I could never recommend this establishment or ever use their services again, after this event. This establishment is the worst I have seen among many estate sales. It is outrageous that they employ such vulgar and disrespectful employees.

Seaside estate sales are by far the worst. While trying to buy something their was know one at the counter ready to check me out, and they had no room for negotiation.
