Just finished my first knitting lesson w/ Ursula. Had a great experience and left with a newly started project!!I love the wide variety of yarn and finished items that are displayed. They are inspirational to see as a beginner. I also appreciate that the yarn is kept packaged until you buy it to ensure its not dusty, full of lint, or snagged. Took awhile to find the store, but worth the wait! I'll be back for more lessons. (Which are complimentary with purchase of materials through her store - which I think is more than fair).

Be aware that your children are not welcome at this establishment. I went in to specifically let my son pick out some yarn. He is a very sweet, gentle, calm 3-year-old boy. I was excited to support a local business with quality products. However, we simply had a horrible experience. The proprietor visibly tensed as we entered the shop. She approached us after a few minutes and literally told me she didn't want my son to "tear up" her store and that "this isn't Michael's. [Her] products are expensive." This was just after my son very carefully, gently picked up ONE hank of wool-blend yarn and said, "This is soo pretty. I love this color. I want this one." We were headed up to buy it, when she said she didn't want my son to touch anything. Needless to say, we left the yarn where we found it and left the store.
