I went there a few months ago and loved this black mother of pearl flower necklace. It wasn't quite time to get it yet. Fast forward a few more months and for our anniversary I brought my husband in and showed it to him and he also loved it. He bought it for me and I love feeling so beautiful when I wear it! Na Hoku has beautifully unique pieces and the prices are very reasonable as well! The salespeople were very kind and we had a great time chatting about our love for jewelry

Great online order customer service. I bought a beautiful sterling silver hibiscus bangle bracelet. The bracelet came from the Na Hoku store in Stevens Creek. I got the bracelet 2 days after I ordered it. It is definitely my new daily wear bracelet. Looks fantastic and definitely worth the price!

I saw one bad review of Na Hoku, it was from a diamond ring shopping web site. Don't go there for that. Go there for finding unique Polynesian styles with some less common Jem stones, mother of pearl, spiny oyster, Koa wood, beautiful inlays and jewelery that seems to be more solid and better made than the typical independent jewelry shop that has a generic selection of traditional settings that you can find anywhere. The service in my local store is great and the boxes are very nice, excellent presentation value and good gift wrapping. Pricing is fair to good with the caveat that the things I buy there are not the same as at other jewelry stores. What I like is that I get something much more unique that will get noticed. It's hard to put a price on that. I'm cheap and some things in the store are very expensive but I never feel like the prices are out of line, even when I'm looking at something I can't afford. Everyone should look here at least once just to find out if it fits your style.

I went to another location on vacation and bought a ring. When I purchased it, I was told I could get it sized for free at another location. Fast forward a few months and I’m wearing the ring on my right index finger and tap it on a piece of furniture by accident. A tiny diamond falls out. There is no obvious damage to the prongs. I took the ring to this location and ask for it to be resized and to get the stone fixed. They took the ring to send off to their factory. A month goes by and I find out they want to charge 80 for the sizing. I’m annoyed by this because I was told it would be free. I’m told that it’s because there is inlay and so it can’t be sized that much. Okay, that makes sense but the salesperson at the other location was lying then. So I speak to a manager who tells me that she will try to see if she can get approval. That was about almost two months ago. I got a call today saying they had “been trying to reach me” (no messages). It turns out they can’t honor the initial salesperson’s promise. Now they claim the inlay has been worn down. I have worn this ring very few times. It’s awkward for me to wear a ring on my right index finger, which is the only place it fits. I would have never bought the ring if I had known that they were lying about the free resize and I will never shop at any location knowing that corporate does not support their employees in the concept of “making things right” when things go wrong.
