I’m not a fan of dental surgery, but I found my experience with Dr. Richard Ting and the entire staff of Santa Monica Center for Oral Surgery to be a good one. Dr. Ting has a lovely and soothing demeanor and he explained everything prior to the surgery and talked me through everything during the surgery. The surgical staff, Kanita, Helen and Dove were very efficient and kind. I had the utmost confidence in all of them. I especially appreciated the follow up call from Dr. Ting the evening after the surgery. I was well taken care of.

I had an amazing experience overall! Dr. Tanner was my surgeon and Jeanne, Jenifer, and Jackie were my nurses. They all took great care of me! I had four impacted wisdom teeth extracted, and I had the best possible recovery experience, with very minimal swelling and pain post-surgery and very clear instructions for post-operative care. Everyone is super kind and was willing to answer any questions I had both leading up to and after the surgery. The facility is also very nice, including a clean and modern waiting area, bright rooms with state of the art equipment, and surgery suites with a view! I would definitely recommend this clinic to anyone needing to get extractions!

Absolutely brilliant experience with Santa Monica Center for Oral Surgery and Dental Implants, from the woman who answered all my questions about the billing and insurance, to the incredible skill and personal approach of Dr. Tanner, who made me feel not only that I was in safe and knowledgeable hands, but put any fears to rest--easily the most painless dental procedure I've ever had. He explained, patiently, the procedures and also offered and options and clarified all considerations. And the nurse and assistants were incredible--Jenifer, Jackie, and Helen--who were helpful, so pleasant, and incredibly compassionate.

Had the best experience (as one can have for a dental procedure). The office itself is incredibly clean, comfortable and almost feels more like a spa than a dental office. Everyone in the office are extremely nice and helpful as well. I had two wisdom teeth extracted and the procedure was quick and easy. The nurse team of Kanita, Jenifer, Gina and Dove were great and made me feel comfortable and at ease. Dr. Tanner is excellent. I had almost no pain or really any swelling following the procedure. Would definitely recommend!
