Had a super fun time tonight at the drive-in movies with my daughter - sat in the back of our SUV with blankets and pillows, ate popcorn and felt normal during the pandemic! We got there ten minutes before the show started and unfortunately were all the way in the back so it wasn’t the greatest view of the screen but with the sound from our car I thought it was still enjoyable. The fog rolled in tho and we couldn’t see the screen as well, I just accepted it as it’s not their fault, and then was pleasantly surprised to see that we received an email with an offer to refund or transfer our payment to another movie. Thought that was super nice. The only thing that annoyed me is that other cars are allowed to stay on with their engines running, which affects the sound for you if you have your doors open, and the staff can’t ask people to turn them off. (A bit Karen-ish but still). Tips to make it more enjoyable: 1) Get there an hour early when they open 2) Have your food and snacks ready as they start at 5:30 pm sharp. 3) Start to leave before the movie ends as there’s one exit lane and traffic builds up a bit 4) Travel potty for the little ones 5) Blankets as it’s super windy at times 6) Designated driver and booze for you Looking forward to more fun this year at the drive-in movies! Had a great time with my son at the drive in! Felt sort of like a “normal” night out. We got there about an hour before the show and were in the second row, so we had a great view. The radio drifted every once in a while so I wish the sound was better somehow. They do a great job of spreading the cars out, too. Didn’t have any food but looks like a good selection.

Staff is so amazing!!!!! They were so fun and helpful and welcoming!Thought of everything here and is super COVID safe. Even tape over headlights if you need to keep your car on. Lovely place will definitely be coming back

Check in process was quick and easy. Employees were friendly and helpful. Social distancing made it easy to see the screen clearly. Good food choices, although expensive. Great experience! Update: I wish I could give more than 5 stars. The most outstanding customer service!!!

Check in was fast and so easy, as were directions to our parking spot. We got a great view of the screen (get there early!). We will definitely be coming back for another date night soon! EDIT: came back for a second time and it was even better than the first! My only complaint is that they’re not going to be doing this for much longer!

Got here right as the doors opened and got a great spot close to the screen! Easy, contact-free assistance to guide you into your spot. Great concessions set up. Everyone seems very respectful of each other’s space which is nice! A great covid-safe activity.

What an amazing experience! Great staff and everyone provided excellent service and were all socially distant! Even the cars are socially distant. While we might have to social distance we all can still be social! In our cars of course enjoying a great movie among the stars!

Second time attending the drive in at Santa Monica airport! They’re very organized and getting in and out is a breeze. Port-potties are the fancy kind and they have decent hand washing stations. You can also grab popcorn and candy for your viewing
