I've contacted the registrar's office 3 times in the last few weeks before the election from Hell. Once I emailed, then I visited and just now called them. First, I got a helpful and quick response by email. Then I was helped immediately when I went to pick up a vote by mail duplicate ballot, and today, they answered the phone on the first ring, no waiting on hold for the next available agent. Since my original vote by mail ballot did show up, I wanted to find out which one I should use. He was very polite and courteous, and answered my question. Excellent customer service from this department, especially during such a busy time of year. Thank you!

Very informative, happy to have us there to observe the ballot count. I didn't vote by mail because I had heard that signatures were hard to verify as the ones on file could be old, & not match. She assured me they usually find a match when possible, but to be sure I can reregister (fill out the whole form, not just the new stuff) 6 weeks before every election.

So why is your telephone number disconnected? I still have NO clear answer to my question. I just want to know if I can drop off my mail-in ballot at ANY polling place, or NOT, on Election Day. The flyer says \No\, but the website says \Yes\. Is this confusion just one more way to negate the votes of senior citizens, the infirm, or the disabled? I waited until Election Day to make my decisions, because I wanted to learn of any last minute changes, discoveries, and/or info concerning candidates, and issues through many of the various media outlets available. I'm just sitting here curious, bewildered, and frustrated, in Cloverdale. If the Right Wingers are trying to discourage voters in any way possible, their extreme efforts may result in the desired effect, IMO.
