We had all three of our daughters over the past five years at Thrive, and had great births each time. The midwives are amazingly kind, full of information, sensitive to different situations. They work with you to have the birth experience you are looking for. They are available for texts and calls anytime so any concerns are met with a response quickly. I recommend Thrive to everyone! Child birth is a wild experience and thanks to Thrive and the awesome Midwives we have super positive birth stories that we will always cherish and share!

I cannot recommend Thrive Birth Center enough. My husband and I were recent transplants to CA when we discovered we were pregnant and I was nervous about being far from the familiarity of our families during this time. Caitlin and Jasmine provided the support we needed. They answered all of our questions during our hour long pre-natal appointments without feeling rushed. They are very knowledgeable on a wide range of topics including: spinning babies, prenatal nutrition, delayed cord clamping, breastfeeding support, postpartum recovery, fetal screening tests, vitamin K, and many others. They provided us with information and conversation surrounding the conventional offerings for prenatal and infant care and made us informed consumers while respecting our decisions. The postpartum home visits were very special and Jasmine helped me tremendously to establish breastfeeding with my baby when I was struggling. Both Caitlin and Jasmine are very accessible via their cellphones and I felt safe and secure in their care from pregnancy through labor, delivery, and postpartum. I would recommend Thrive Birth Center to my family and friends over and over again.

Everyone at Thrive is absolutely amazing! I just delivered my son here almost a year ago. From the yoga teachers, to the lactation consultant, to the office staff, to the midwives and their students, everyone is so helpful and knowledgeable. I went to the prenatal yoga classes and they were so helpful during my pregnancy. Jasmine and Caitlin were my midwives and they became like family to us! My two year old daughter came to almost all of my appointments and they were always so fantastic and loving with her (my daughter was obsessed with Caitlin ). The midwives were always very responsive to my concerns and our appointments were so comprehensive - they would sometimes turn into a therapy session for me . My labor this time was a little tougher than with my first and I found myself struggling, which I really didn't anticipate and that made me question myself at times. Jasmine, Caitlin, and Beth (student midwife) gave us all of the support we needed to get my beautiful little boy out. The birthing tub and room were beautiful and so peaceful. They made sure that I ate and drank during my labor and even made sure my husband was fed and hydrated as well. Seriously, I'm almost sad it's all over because I won't have a reason to visit these beautiful ladies regularly anymore. Although, I do plan on going in for classes and to keep in touch. If you are pregnant, don't hesitate to give birth at Thrive Birth Center!!

I am deeply grateful to have birthed my son at home in the care of the midwives of Thrive. My whole pregnancy journey was a beautiful and empowering experience, and our birth was a beautiful culmination of 9 months of connection and insightful midwifery care. If you or someone you love is pregnant or trying to conceive, do yourself a favor and at least schedule a visit with the Thrive folks.

The care that I received at Thrive is unparalleled, I recommend that anyone considering this option go meet the staff and see the facilities. The experience of having one small team of caregivers through your whole pregnancy and at the birth makes for a totally comfortable, informed, supported experience. The midwives are highly skilled, professional, compassionate, so friendly. The admin staff makes everything easy. When the time came I could just relax because they knew everything I wanted and knew my family and history, and respected my wishes. The result is two wonderful births so far. The first one had a hospital transfer after the birth, which showed me that they do not take any chances and fully support integrated care for the well-being of mom and baby. I had my second birth at home again without question. When we first learned about the option of out-of-hospital birth we did a lot of research and after learning the physiology and biology of the birth experience it was an easy decision. I've now had two of my sisters choose this after watching my experiences, we are all thrilled and love our births and midwife team! Please give yourself the gift of even a chance at this kind of experience, go check it out.
