Sam helped me with a new kayak paddle a buddy had sent me as a Christmas gift....that I could not figure out how to tighten. They adjusted my paddle that I didn't buy from them and gave me a map of some good kayak spots. Great service and I will be buying my next kayak and seat from you this summer!

Economy Bait and Tackle is an old staple in Sarasota. I used to fish 3 times a week until health issues. Everything we could ever need to enhance our fishing experience we got from Economy. Some of the staff I would wait for as to get advice from. Great guys and everything you need

First time in this shop. Was looking for several rods, lots of new tackle and misc. I wondered around the shop for 20 minutes. Even went to the counter to look at reels. One guy was standing there doing nothing. One other was spooling up a reel with new line for a customer. I was ready to spend but not one person asked me if I needed anything or could they help. I made it look like I was searching for something. Not once did they pick up on it so I left. I spent 730.00 at another competitor who was very helpful. Note: you guys need to pay more attention to customers in your store.

About 50% of the staff and customers are not wearing masks. I'll shop somewhere where they care about keeping me safe. Who wants to buy a kayak only to be exposed to COVID?

FABULOUS experience...LOVE our kayaks!!! We would highly recommend Economy Bait and Tackle if you are looking to buy kayaks. Customer service is first class all the way!!!! We dealt with Kelly quite a bit, and she was absolutely terrific!!!! After telling her what our needs were, she recommended kayaks to us that we absolutely love!!!! She also went the extra mile for us, which we really appreciated!!! The owner Al, was terrific also!!! You can tell he really cares about the customer!! We will be recommending Economy Bait and Tackle to our friends and family!!
