Amazing state park. Nice in the Fall to see the changing tree colors. Has a two mile loop around the mark and some unpaved trails to hike. If biking, be aware there are a lot of hills so be prepared to have some burning legs. Has a sandy area by one of the lakes there as well.

Great Trails...paved, rocky, tree rooted, unpredictable & predictable paths/trails to walk down to enjoy nature, tale a few photos in opportune beautiful natural surroundings, and get in a little exercise in an absolutely breathtaking setting! Great place to do yoga @ beach or to meditate at also!!

Well maintained, nice paved loop around the reservation. There are some cool wooded trails in the interior. Plenty to explore. While it is dog friendly, you do need to keep your dog on a leash. Go to Sheepfold if you have a dog. 15 minutes away and it's an off leash reservation

Breakheart Reservation is such an amazing reserved area to walk, hike and run. Every evening when I walk or run through, there is always a great sense of peace, calmness and fresh air. Seeing people around, families taking a walk or even the senior couples strolling together to keep fit is just the peak of it. Several nice trails, paved roads, no scare things in the wood and the beach area is pretty much fun. Say \Hi Michael\ when you see me, cause I will always be there.
